This notice explains how LadyLux Hire handles personal information for Creator Program applications, creator accounts and administration through the LadyLux Manager app. It relates to the creator service, rather than describing all data handling across the dress-hire shop or third-party websites.
Information we collect
When you apply, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, Instagram username, password in protected hashed form, your agreement to the terms and this policy, and the date and policy versions associated with that agreement. We also keep your application status and records of account administration, such as approval, suspension and email sending attempts.
We may review publicly available information on the social account you provide and retain relevant correspondence when you contact us. Account security uses session identifiers, password reset records and temporary rate-limiting identifiers derived from connection information. Hosting and delivery providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs.
The application does not ask for bank details, identity documents or customers’ personal information. Cash commission and payout functionality is not active. We will explain any additional collection needed for payouts before requesting it.
How we use information
- Assess applications and communicate approval decisions.
- Provide private account access, password resets and account support.
- Send application confirmations and operational account emails.
- Protect accounts, prevent misuse and keep administration records.
- Respond to questions, privacy requests and disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations.
If you do not provide the required application information, we cannot process your creator application. Agreement to this policy is not a separate subscription to unrelated marketing.
Who can access it
Authorised LadyLux administrators can review applications in WordPress and through the private LadyLux Manager app. The app receives applicant contact details, Instagram username, account status and application dates for administration. Creator dashboards are restricted to the signed-in creator’s information and do not display other creators’ details or customers’ personal information.
Service providers supporting website hosting, security, email delivery, backups and the manager app may process information to deliver those services. These include Hostinger for website hosting and the OpenAI-hosted Sites service used for the manager app. We may also disclose information when legally required or as reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims.
Overseas processing
Our technology providers may process or store information outside Australia. Processing locations depend on the providers and services used; we have not confirmed a complete country list for this creator service. Please contact us if you need further information about a provider or processing location before applying.
Cookies and security
The creator service uses essential cookies to protect form submissions and maintain your signed-in session. Its form-security cookie lasts up to 24 hours and its login session up to seven days, unless ended earlier. Blocking these cookies may prevent applications or sign-in from working. Other parts of the website and third-party services may use their own cookies.
Creator passwords are stored as hashes rather than readable passwords. The service uses HTTPS, restricted administrator access and protected session tokens. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Do not send your password to LadyLux or include sensitive financial information in a contact message.
Retention and account closure
We keep application, account, correspondence and audit records while needed to administer the program, handle disputes, protect the service or meet applicable legal requirements. There is currently no automatic deletion schedule for creator application records. Closing an account does not immediately erase all records, and copies may remain in backups until those backups are replaced.
You can request deletion or closure. We will review what can be removed and explain any information that needs to be retained.
Access, corrections and complaints
To request access to or correction of your information, ask for account closure or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email LadyLux Hire at hamish.larnach@outlook.com. Mention “Creator privacy” and the email address used for your application. We may need to verify your identity, but will not ask for your password.
We will review your request and respond using your contact details. If you are dissatisfied, you can ask us to review the response. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for information about privacy complaints and whether it can consider your concern.
Policy changes
We will publish updates on this page and notify creators of material changes affecting how their information is handled. Additional payout-related data handling will be explained before payout information is collected.
